Benefit of the Doubt

We recently took a family trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  Surrounded by all the guests at the amusement park, I wondered what their personal struggles were all about. Were some of them battling health issues?  Were marriages in trouble?  Were faulty family dynamics threatening the peace and stability of the family unit?  There was no way to tell what lay beneath the happy exteriors of the people eagerly exploring Disney World's many enticing treasures.  Only God can know a person's heart.  So, if someone is less than polite to you or does something that offends, give them the benefit of the doubt and extend immeasurable grace, just as God extends abundant grace to all of us.
