Habits

Have you considered your habits lately?  Habits, like everything else in life, have consequences.  Bad habits generate negative consequences while good habits lead to positive consequences.  If you smoke, eventually your health will suffer.  If you fail to brush your teeth regularly, cavities will spawn trips to the dentist or worse yet, unchecked gingivitis may ultimately cause tooth loss.  Conversely, good habits reward us with positive results in our life.  When you exercise consistently, the reward is a strong, healthy body.  Being in the habit of frequently using polite expressions such as “please” and “thank you” generates positive responses and good will from others.  Spiritually, good habits are important too.  Are you in the habit of going to church and fellowshipping with other believers regularly?  Is reading your bible part of your daily routine?  How much time do you spend talking to God every day?  Habits can make or break us.  Check your spiritual habits today to form a stronger relationship with God.
