We worship a God of divine organization and order counts in our daily walk with Him. For example, God creates and blesses the family unit. In Genesis 9:7, He specifically encourages us to have children. But in 1 Corinthians 7:8-9, God forbids sex outside of marriage. The order He requires is marriage first, then children. Another example involves faith. Before believing in faith for something, first it is necessary to seek God’s will. Exercising faith for something that is out of God’s will for your life will not yield fruit. If it was possible to believe for something without first seeking God’s will, we could all believe to win the lottery and walk into 7-Eleven today to buy the winning ticket. Have you stopped to seek God’s will for the things you desire? Are you willing to accept His will over your own inclinations? Order counts in God’s kingdom. Take time to make sure the order of things in your life matches the order God prescribes for His children.
It's a Matter of Order
